Our team and board consist of experienced leaders from various industries who work together to effectively carry out strategic and goal-oriented investments that create long-term positive change in society.
Destination Invest is led by an Investment Manager and collaborates with GU Ventures for support on specific matters, while also working with various partners to maximize the impact of our investments in areas such as social sustainability and entrepreneurship.

Seida Shabanoska
Investment Manager
Seida has a strong background in finance and compliance, with experience from international companies such as A.P. Moller-Maersk and Volvo Cars. She has worked with financial reporting, internal control, and regulatory compliance, particularly in anti-money laundering and risk management. At Swedbank, she has worked with financing—from startups to large corporations and institutions—handling both funding and regulatory matters. With experience in project management and law, she is well equipped to support companies in navigating complex financial and regulatory environments. Seida receives support when needed from consultants as well as from the GU Ventures team.

Klementina Österberg
Chair of the Board
Klementina is a successful business leader and investor with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and business development, particularly within the innovation and start-up sector. She is the CEO of GU Ventures AB, a holding company wholly owned by the Swedish state and the incubator and investor for the University of Gothenburg’s innovations. Under her leadership, GU Ventures has helped develop over 160 start-up companies, which have had a significant economic impact both nationally and internationally. Her dedication and achievements in the field led to her being named Finance Profile of the Year in 2019 by Finans Kompetens Centrum, operated by Business Region Göteborg.

Gabriel Ghavami
Board Member
Gabriel is a leading entrepreneur and the founder of GO MO Group, a prominent B2B digital marketing company based in Gothenburg, founded in 2012. He has successfully combined innovative strategies with deep technical expertise to revolutionize digital marketing. Gabriel is passionate about future technologies such as generative AI and believes they will reshape corporate communication and marketing. He has also founded and led several other companies, including GO MO Marketing Ltd and GO MO Digital Business Solutions Ltd in India, as well as Geneva R. Invest AB, and is a leading investor in the sports tech startup Spolto AB in India.

Mats Torring

Mats is a prominent leader in sustainability and innovation, serving as Head of New Ventures at Stena Metall AB. He has an impressive track record in developing groundbreaking technologies for recycling and environmental protection, including his work with the HALOSEP process, which transforms waste into new raw materials and reduces environmental pollution. Mats is also a respected board member in several companies focused on circular economy and sustainable innovation, including PaperShell and Spec-Imaging AB. His strategic vision and commitment to long-term, sustainable business solutions have made him a key figure in environmental technology and corporate innovation.

Marie Osberg
Board Member
Marie is an experienced leader in the banking and financial sector, with a long track record in senior executive roles. Over the past five years, she has focused entirely on board work across various industries, in both listed and unlisted environments. She holds several board positions and serves on multiple risk and audit committees. Marie has a strong commitment to developing profitable and sustainable strategies while maintaining solid oversight of risk and governance matters.

Arta Mandegari
Board Member
Arta is a leading entrepreneur and co-founder of eEducation Albert AB. He founded the company in 2016 together with his childhood friend Salman Eskandari, with a vision to improve access to knowledge through technology. Under their leadership, Albert has supported over 500,000 families in their children’s education through mobile apps covering subjects such as mathematics, English, geography, and programming. Albert has quickly grown to become a key player in digital education in Europe and is now active in around 10 countries. Arta is known for his strong drive to improve educational opportunities for children globally and has successfully positioned Albert as a leading platform for personalized learning.

Emma Rozada
Board Member
Emma Rozada is a versatile entrepreneur with nearly twenty years of experience in technology and business development. As the founder of The Techno Creatives Ventures, she invests in tech-driven companies, with a portfolio of 18 businesses and several successful exits, including Bokio and Yacht Defined. Previously, she led The Techno Creatives Studio, which delivered over 700 projects and received more than 50 design awards. Today, she heads Interplanetary Species, focused on the development of virtual coworkers. Emma has international experience and is an active board member of the West Sweden Chamber of Commerce, an advisor to Engineers Without Borders, and a member of the Swedish jury for Venture Cup.

Salman Eskandari

Salman is a prominent entrepreneur and co-founder of eEducation Albert AB. Under the leadership of Salman and Arta, the company has expanded to around 10 countries and was listed on the Nasdaq First North Growth Market in 2021. With a background in management consulting and finance, Salman has been instrumental in building and scaling Albert into a platform with a turnover exceeding SEK 200 million. His focus has been on integrating acquired companies and driving synergies between them, contributing to the company’s rapid growth and increasing profitability. Salman is also known for his commitment to creating accessible and personalized education for children worldwide.
