Destination Invest invests in entrepreneurs and businesses connected to selected areas in Gothenburg. We are more than a financial investor, we are an active investment partner and part of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Beyond capital, we provide access to knowledge, mentorship, networks, advisors, experts, investors and market exposure. Our role is to support entrepreneurs as they develop their ideas, strengthen their business models and build sustainable ventures.
Destination Invest primarily seeks entrepreneurs with ideas and businesses that meet the following criteria:
Geographical Connection.
Fulfilling at least one of these criteria is sufficient for the company to be considered as having the required geographical connection.

The company is based in a disadvantaged area that Destination Invest prioritizes for development and growth, such as Bergsjön, Biskopsgården, Tynnered, Hammarkullen, Hjällbo, or Lövgärdet.

Either the holding company or the production unit is registered and operating in one of these disadvantaged areas.

At least one key person in the company (owner or BoD member) is officially registered as a resident in one of the disadvantaged areas that Destination Invest focuses on.
Business Strategy and Impact.

Community Engagement: The company must integrate positive social and sustainability strategies into its business model.

Innovative Capacity: The company should offer innovative solutions or improve existing industry structures to meet market and societal needs.

Sustainable Innovation: Products and services should promote environmental and social improvements.
